To continue to build a biblical based foundation through the work of the Holy Spirit and the Fellowship of the body of Christ in order to equip members to serve, evangelize, disciple, and love the families and individuals of our community at every stage of life.
Leadership Team
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Pastor Edwin, Senior Pastor
Pastor Edwin Puckett is married to Pam and has served as senior pastor at Central Community Church since 1998. Prior to coming here, he served as pastor in Brunswick, Alma, Nichols, and Dahlonega, Georgia. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1981. Before beginning his pastoral ministry, he served as an Area and National Evangelist for Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah for our organization. He and Pam have been married since 1979 and are blessed with two children, Nathan who is married to Sara Stevens and Natalie who is married to Brandon Roberts. They are proud grandparents to Ryker, Nash, Bryce, and, arriving in October, Clint. Pam serves in Women’s Ministry and has served as a Registered Nurse since 1983. She currently works at Gordon Hospital in the Case Management Department.
Pastor Stephen, Associate Pastor
Pastor Stephen Parrish is married to Jennifer and has two wonderful daughters, Gracie and Savana, and an amazing grandson, Luke. He holds a degree in Human Services from Colorado Technical University and a BA Equivalency from Pentecostal Theological Seminary. Stephen has served as Youth Pastor and is now Associate Pastor for Central Community Church. Stephen is also Director of Programs and Training with the Boys and Girls Clubs.
Zac and Jaycee Cain, Youth Ministry
Zac was called to ministry at an early age and for the past five and a half years has been a full-time youth and young adult pastor in St. Marys Georgia. Zac married his wife Jaycee in 2019. Jaycee serves alongside Zac in their ministry. They welcomed their first-born Anderson in April of 2022. They have a strong desire to see students draw close to God and believe true community is vital to staying close to God.
Adam Winkler, Music Ministry
Adam Winkler is married to Sha and they have four wonderful children, Bayleigh, Pate, Magnolia, and Rex. He serves as Worship Leader and Youth Pastor. Adam has a heart for real, life changing worship and youth ministry that changes young lives. Adam has his Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Mathematics Education. He is a 6th grade teacher at Spring Place Elementary.
Melissa Minter, Children’s Ministry
Melissa Minter is the children’s minister at Central Community Church. She holds a B.S. Degree is Middle Grades Math and Science from Lee University and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. Melissa is also a member of the Children’s Ministry Advisory Team for our denomination. Melissa and her husband, Scott, who is a deacon at Central Community Church have two daughters, Laura and Leah.
